[TP] Warpz0r v1.5.0 - Multiworld Warp and Home Plugin

Postby Drakia » October 26th, 2011, 9:48 pm

Warpz0r - Yet another warp and home plugin! Now with iConomy support!
Version: 1.5.0
CraftBukkit: 1.1-R4 or later

Plugin Dependencies:
Any SuperPerms handler (Optional)
Vault (Optional, will allow any Economy plugin to be used)

=============
Description
=============
Yet another warp and home plugin.
I didn't think there were quite enough warp and home plugins out there, so I decided to write my own for my server.
Added basic iConomy support for /home /warp /setwarp and /sethome

Download (Direct JAR): http://thedgtl.net/bukkit/Warpz0r-Vault.jar
Source: https://github.com/TheDgtl/Warpz0r

=============
Installation
=============
Copy Warpz0r.jar to the plugins/ folder
After the initial run it will create a Warpz0r folder with the config file in it. Edit the config file to your liking then run "reload" in the CraftBukkit terminal.

=============
Features
=============
This plugin supports warping/homing between multiple worlds.
You only have one "home," so if you are in one world and your home is in another, you will warp to your "home" world if you use /home
Uses any SuperPerms handler for Permissions support.
Will import your existing homes and warps if you place homes.txt/warps.txt file into the plugins/Warpz0r/ folder
Ability to disable inter-world warp
Support for most Economy plugins via Vault: http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/vault/

=============
Commands
=============
/warp <name> - Warp yourself to specified warp point
/warpto <player> <name> - Warp target player to specified warp point
/listwarps - List all available warps
/setwarp <name> - Create a named warp at your current location

/wz compass <warp> - Set your compass to point to <warp>

=============
F.A.Q.
=============
Q) Why don't beds show animation?
A) Iunno, ask Notch.

Q) Can you add private warps?
A) Iunno, as... Oh wait, this one's on me. This isn't the type of plugin Warpz0r is meant to be, and it's probably never going to support private /hidden warps.

Re: [TP] Warpz0r v1.4.2 - Multiworld Warp and Home Plugin [1

Postby MarkA2049 » October 28th, 2011, 8:22 am

I love this plugin.. very useful. But.. I have problems. I'll repost what I had on bukkit.

---

Having a bit of trouble getting this to work with permissions.

I have build 1317.

I am using PermissionsBukkit with Superpermsbridge and have tried both nodes of 'warpz0r.warp: true' and 'superpermbridge.warpz0r.warp: true'

With either, It says I do not have permission to use the command.

Also, I get this in the console
Code: Select all
23:13:56 [INFO] Warpz0r version 1.3.1-dev is enabled
23:13:56 [INFO] [Warpz0r] Found Permissions (v2.7.7)

Could you explain what I am doing wrong?
Thanks,
Mark

Edit: I have also tried the dev version, and still no luck.

First you'll want to download the latest version (1.4.2 is the latest, 1.3.1-dev is quite old and doesn't support SuperPerms): http://thedgtl.net/bukkit/Warpz0r.jar
I just tested with warpz0r.warp: true in the PermissionsBukkit config and it works fine for /warp. What command are you trying to use?

I was trying to /warp, but I'll try the new one now.

EDIT: No luck, I sent you my permissions in PM.

I want it so only Peon+ can use the warp feature. Pretty much what I'm trying to do.. is once they rank up by hitting a sign, they have to look for this command to get out (after reading all the rules and etc.)

It doesn't work for any rank. Not even admins who have warpz0r.admin.

EDIT2: Home and /sethome works fine.. and I don't even have permissions for that set!

Update is postponed for a day or two, spent like 5 hours rewriting most of the plugin, ran into some issues but need to get some sleep.

Hello there. I just spotted warpz0r on bukkitdev, with the author Tolerate (aka Tolerance on pbo)

http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/warp/

Is this a fork, rehosting, piracy, or what?

He essentially downloaded the Warpz0r JAR and uploaded it with zero changes. He claims to be "adding iConomy 6.x" support, yet Warpz0r supports Register, not iConomy, so it already supports iConomy 6.x. Just as with every other fork of my plugins it will probably just whither and die within months (I've seen multiple people fork my projects, they're all GPL, so it's perfectly allowed. But nobody actually keeps up on updates/adding features).

Hi, warps are really important on my server because there are lots of VIPs and they are able to make them. I've been using Warpz0r since... well, since the first days. We recently moved to another server hoster and we really have a severe problem since the move. Warpz0r tends to randomly delete a large number of warps on a server restart/reload. I didn't look which warps exactly are deleted, but it seems like the same warps are deleted every time, I will make a list if you wish.
There isn't any special output in the console after the warps get deleted.
This is really, really annoying.
Do you think this would stop if I delete the database and start a new one (that wouldn't be nice...) or will I have to search another warp- plugin? :(

CB Build 1337, Warpz0r Version 1.4.2

My warps.db: http://cl.ly/Bm4Q I will upload the file again when the problem occurs next time.

The only times Warpz0r should remove a warp it should show a message in console. Are you sure there's nothing shown in console about invalid warps on startup?

I'll take another look at it, but currently have not finished implementing it as suPerperms is a really fucked up system.

Indeed, I got the majority of it re-written, but Permissions were failing to work as they should, which made the entire thing useless. I will look into it again this week.

Ahh, I see I see... I dont understand why people need to make 50 different permissions plugins. Why can't we just have 1 centralized system that everything works with. Pain in the ass.

Hi, could you add a permission node to overwrite existing warps? Thanks

Any chance of this being updated to work with 1.2.3? Love your plugins Drakia, feel weird without 'em lol.
