Joy and Inscrutable, I'm not able to reproduce this locally, can you post the exact method you used to cause it? :/ I'll upload a build that should hopefully fix it, let me know if it helps (Purely based on a guess, lol):

And for people running 1.8.1 I'll be uploading a 0.7.3.1-pre build, which doesn't include the new sign updating call.

heitor15, I see no reason why chunks are unloading, you're not running any weird plugins. The only thing I can recommend is updating to the latest build of CB, as you're currently ~100 builds out of date.

TBG, I also recommend updating to the latest build of CB, as you are also ~100 builds out of date.

On that note, why are so many people running the arbitrary build 1465? It's old, has bugs, and there's no reason to run it over the latest build of CB.

Hi Drakia! The >< bug isn't 100% reproducible (like all the best bugs XD), but often occurs when I return to a gate
I recently went through and use the sign again. Instead of most recent gate, it shows >< most of the time.
[EDIT] Just tried out the new build. Same issue, first gate option is still >< whenever I return to a gate and reuse it.
Here's my CB 1559 plugin list just in case anything there is suspicious.

I can not for the life of me reproduce this issue >.> It can't have anything to do with another plugin, as the destMemory is all internal. I'll try to look more into it after work today.

I'm having the >< thing as well, if it helps any here is my config. It happens after I use a portal and then try to use that same portal again right away.

Snowmen now break Stargates when they walk through them :( And removing the snow does not fix it, entire sign needs to be remade...would be great if you could somehow prevent that grief method, really annoying :(

- Added "ignoreEntrance" option to not check entrance to gate on integrity check (Workaround for snowmen until event is pulled)

I've added a workaround for the time being, just set ignoreEntrance to true in the config and it should stop snowmen from destroying gates :)
Also now that 1.0.1 has an RB I will not be updating the pre build of Stargate any further.

As for the SnowmanTrailEvent, I have made a pull request, and hopefully they will pull it sooner rather than later.

Hi there -
I've only recently managed to update to bukkit #1597 because I was using a customised world.
Anyway, I tried your version 072 and 073. I was hopeful about the gate signs. I see no-one else has posted, so its probably my fault, but I can't get the gate-sign to stay on the last destination used. Within seconds, it changes back to the 'right-click to use' text.
Here's my config :

Hopefully someone can tell me where I'm going wrong.

theman, there will always be a timeout that deactivates a sign, with having "destMemory" set to true however you will be at the same destination the next time you right click the sign.

AAhh....
Well, not quite what I was hoping for, I thought it might be possible to keep the last destination on the sign all the time ! Useful for when you are doing a fair amount of travelling back and forth to a single destination.
...... and before you mention 'always on', that wouldn't be practical since I need the gates to go to multiple destinations, but there's times when you are going to the same place a lot. The place where I have the most problems is in the Nether - when I need to leave fast because that giant Ghast is hot on my heals, the delay in the extra click to hit the sign on one side of the gate and then the button on the other often got me killed.
.......... and before you mention 'gate redesign', I did that to, and put the sign and button on the same side - still got killed. If you run at a door with that ever vigilant Creeper on your toes, you only have to click the door and your in. That single click makes all the difference when your running for your life !
Anyway, it was just a suggestion, no problem if it can't be done. It's still the best gate mod out there.
