Stargate v0.7.6.0 help

OK, I am a new server admin (for a private family server). Saw this wonderful plugin, watched PIPs video, installed it, created a set of "f" stargates, work like a charm, created a set of "a" stargates, they work...

Now when I try and create any Other "a" portals, it assigns them to the (central) network and the last line of the sign says (Not Connected). I know I am doing something wrong, please help...

Also a very basic server (1.2.3), only other plugins are: AntiCreeper v3.1.3, Backup v1.8.8, Multiverse v2.4-b522, Runecraft v0.1, and of Course Stargate v0.7.6.0.
